After two years of planning and preparation, the 40 Year Reunion of the classes of Fall 1963, Spring 1964 and Fall 1964 is now history.
About 350 alumni, spouses and guests descended on the Radisson Miyako Hotel in San Francisco on October 2, 2004, for an evening of food, fun and friendship.
They came from all over California, 14 other U.S. states and British Columbia.
When they weren’t working the room, alums rocked to D.J. Steve Fox’s nostalgic tunes.
Co-masters of ceremonies John O’Connell F63, Jerry Kay S64, and Ron Brown F64, regaled the crowd with their wit and wisdom.
Former faculty member and Student Body Advisor, Jim Wyatt, introduced the teachers in attendance: Robert Breuer, Patricia Keenan, Florence Lewis, Joan-Marie Shelley and Jean Thomas.
Terry Lowry, made a special presentation to Iris Hardeman, wife of Bob Hardeman S64, for spending countless hours searching for “Missing Links.”
Iris graduated well after 1964 and didn’t even go to Lincoln!
Jim Lewis, S64 Class President, Reunion Committee Webmaster and Graphics Guru, held forth at the Tennessee Grill on Saturday afternoon and a “Bring your own everything” picnic at Parkside Square Park on Sunday.
So, when’s the next reunion?
Stay tuned!
