Keeping the Family Together

Hi Mustangs:

You have read many times that our main function of the Alumni Association is keeping the family together. Everybody's extended family includes the classmates they have spent at least 3, and some 13 years, interacting with every day on and off the campus.

We generally send out a plea to classes without reunion committees so that they may form committees, choose a chairperson and plan a meaningful reunion. We feel now that we should send a request for participation to all our members in the hope that word will get back to those classes without committee chairpersons.

About 80% of classes do have great committees and fantastic reunions. We would like to make that 100%. The following classes still have to fill their vacancies. Some have chairpersons who have a need to retire from that position, others have not had a reunion since graduation.

Please, if you know people in these classes, talk to them about becoming a committee member.

        The classes without reunion representation are: F56,  F60,  S61,  F61, S62,  S63,  S65, F65,  F67,  S76,  S77,  S79,  S80,  S84,  S85,  S86,  S96,  S98, S99,  S00,  S01,  S02,  S03.

Being a committee chairperson or a committee member is a lot of fun.
Meetings usually are highlighted by luncheons, paid for out of onešs own pocket,
or dinners,  lawn parties, pot-luck dinners, and whatever else committees can
think of to enhance the meeting.

Your Alumni Association is here to help. We will do everything we can to help make your reunion just what you envision.

If you are a member of one of these classes and wish to participate and volunteer a few hours of your time, please contact your Alumni Association at LincAlum@aol.com or by snailmail to ALHS Alumni Association, 2162-24th Ave, San Francisco, CA 94116. Remember, nobody has to do it alone, wešre Mustangs and we roam in herds.

Best Regards,
The Executive Board of your
ALHS ALumni Association
